Brazil Tourist Visa requirements
  • Passport valid for atleast 6 months prior to its expiration date.
  • Visa application form has to be filled online. Given belowis the link:

    Go to :- Visa Request link and click it to open e-visa form
    Follow the Form Instructions to fill the form. All applicants have to fill up the visa form online.
  • 2 Recent passport size (4x5cms) color photographs with light background.
  • Covering letter from the applicant’s side mentioning the purpose and duration of stay.
  • Recommendation letter from the Honorary Consul Of Brazil in Colombo ( For Srilankan Passport holder )
  • Original Bank statement of last 6 months till date.
  • Foreign exchange duly endorsed with $ 3000 ( along with receipt
  • Children between 3 months and 6 years of age must have a certificate of vaccination against, Polio, stating kind and dosage of vaccine.
  • Applicants under 18 must present a notarized letter of Consent, signed by parents or guardians (with proof of guardianship)
  • Hotel confirmation and Detailed Tour Itinerary with name, address and phone numbers.
  • Confirmed Return Air Ticket or ticket in Transit along with Flight Number
Medical Requirements:
  • A yellow fever vaccination certificate is requested if the applicant traveled within the last 90 days to Angola, Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Democratic Republic of Congo, Gabon, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Liberia, Nigeria, Siera Leone, Sudan, Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, French Guyana, Peru and Venezuela.
  • Yellow fever vaccination is advisable if applicant’s destination in Brazil includes any of the following States: Acre, Amazonas, Amapá, Federal District, Goiás, Maranhão, Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul, Pará, Rondônia, Roraima and Tocantins.
Visa Fee: Paid in Cash.

  • Rs. 1,200/-
  • A handling fee of Rs. 1,200/- applies to all applications process through third party
  • An additional consultation fee of Rs. 2400/- is applicable whenever consultation with Division of Immigration of the Ministry of External relation in Brazil may be required.
Time Taken: 10 to 12 business days for processing after receipt of complete application.
Submission: Monday To Friday
Time: 09:30am To 11:00am
Tourist and business visas are generally valid for a stay of maximum 90 days from the first entry, renewable for an equal period at the sole discretion of the Brazilian Federal Police.
The maximum stay in Brazil for tourist and business visa holders shall not exceed 180 days from the date of first entry every twelve month.

Note: – Further, any change in fees, additional document or personal presence of the applicant might be required which is on the discretion of the embassy.

 

Brazil Business Visa requirements

  • 2 Recent passport size (4X5cms) colour photographs with light background.
  • A letter on company letterhead, addressed to the Embassy of Brazil, signed by an authorized representative, specifying designation and contact number,agenda of the meeting, stating the purpose of the trip to Brazil.
  • Invitation from Brazil Counterpart should be faxed directly to the Embassy, mentioning the registration number of the company along with all the details of the visit including the duration of stay in Brazil.
  • Fill up the EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION, in the professional column of the application forms (and for verification embassy might ask for copy of supporting documents/degrees etc)
  • An endorsement letter from the Chambers of Commerce/Export Promotion Councill/Manufactures Association” with which the applicants company has been registered with:Mentioning that the Applicant is an Employee of the said company and the association has no objectives in his going to Brazil for Business.
  • Salary Slip and Personnal Bank statements of last Six months.
  • Original Visiting Card is mandatory.
  • Confirmed Return Air Ticket
